 At home on Cherry St.

Nestled in downtown Burlington between Church Street Marketplace and the Lake Champlain waterfront, our home on Cherry Street represents the balance we find in our service: community driven, guest focused, and grounded in our sense of place.

Westport Hospitality has been developing and operating inspired Vermont hotel properties in the greater Burlington area since 1998.

Informed by years of hospitality experience as developers, operators and hosts of major brand-affiliated, independent resort and large urban convention properties, the mission of Westport has remained clear — to provide a warmly satisfying guest experience while creating an optimal working environment for all its associates.

Our commitment to our guests, associates, and the local community has garnered Westport national recognition and the loyalty of our guests — many of whom return time and time again — and a nimble, stable team of smart associates and leadership teams who share a common mission to impart warm, intuitively appealing, intimate and local experiences in the Burlington area.

Our Development Philosophy

Westport Hospitality’s hotels are built to become a part of the fabric of our communities. Our objective at Westport is not to build hotels, but to create signature buildings that invite community and visitors to enjoy warm, local experiences.

We know details make the difference, and commit to spending extra time and energy to re-think every detail. By applying our collective creative energies, research, and resources, we create hotels that celebrate the Vermont community in their design, service culture, and decor. We pride ourselves in creating unique experiences that attract guests and staff alike, as these are the essential relationships to nurture and sustain.
